Your Future Starts Here.   If you’re ready to push limits, reimagine what’s possible, and create the extraordinary, Hexion is where you belong.  Anything is possible when you imagine everything. Role Purpose: Create clear, end-to-end visibility into how work actually happens across people, systems, and decision channels, and translate that understanding into credible future-state process and value stream designs that enable successful transformation and an environment of continuous improvement.   Role Accountability: The Transformation Process Leader is accountable for establishing process truth and enabling grounded future-state design across transformation workstreams. This role ensures initiatives are based on how work truly operates, not assumptions, documentation, or opinion.   Signature Capability: Can spend an hour with operators, leaders, or SMEs and independently produce a ~90% accurate end-to-end process and value stream map, without requiring formal workshops or extended discovery cycles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 7+ years of experience is required
  • Fact-based and grounded in reality
  • Fast, pragmatic and outcome-oriented
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and incomplete information
  • Credible with operators and trusted by leaders
  • Maintains high standards of integrity, discretion, and respect for operators’ realities; surfaces issues constructively without blame
  • Comfortable being mostly right, fast — and refining with evidence
  • Able to infer process structure from incomplete, inconsistent, or conflicting inputs

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly map end-to-end processes (L2–L4) across functions
  • Identify roles, handoffs, decisions, controls, rework, and wait states
  • Capture system touchpoints, data flows, and integration gaps
  • Distinguish documented process from actual operating reality
  • Identify value-adding and non-value-adding activitySurface sources of delay, complexity, and waste
  • Connect process performance to business outcomes and pain points
  • Provide a fact-based foundation for initiative scoping and prioritization
  • Translate current-state insights into practical future-state process options
  • Pressure-test improvement ideas against operational and system constraints
  • Highlight trade-offs across speed, cost, risk and control
  • Support benefit hypothesis development without owning benefits
  • Deploy quickly into transformation initiatives with minimal ramp-up
  • Partner closely with project leaders, sponsors, and operators
  • Apply consistent process and value stream standards across initiatives
  • Enable faster, higher-quality scoping and design decisions
