About The Position

Leidos is seeking a Director of Business Process Transformation to be part of our Enterprise initiative to identify, design, and implement large-scale process improvements across the enterprise. In this role, you will be responsible for dismantling silos, eliminating operational friction, and building a scalable infrastructure for growth. You will serve as an architect for how work gets done, ensuring our processes are effective, efficient, agile, data-driven, and aligned with long-term corporate strategy. You will work closely with the Chief Transformation Office and report to the Enterprise Performance Excellence Office.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in business transformation, management consulting, or strategic operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is required; MBA preferred.
  • Deep expertise in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), Kaizen, or Agile transformation frameworks.
  • Proven track record of managing $1M+ transformation budgets and delivering measurable bottom-line impact and tangible outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and navigate complex organizational politics.
  • US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.

  • Experience in Aerospace, Defense and IT industries.
  • Experience leading digital transformation or AI-integration initiatives.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with P&L management is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Roadmap: Work with the Transformation Office and Execution Office to execute a multi-year transformation roadmap that aligns with the company’s financial and operational execution goals.
  • End-to-End Process Design: Lead and partner with cross-functional teams to re-engineer core business processes (e.g., Invoicing, Procure-to-Pay) to improve velocity and quality.
  • Change Management: Act as a primary change agent, coaching senior leadership and department heads on adopting new methodologies and mindsets.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the ROI and health of transformation initiatives.
  • Technology Integration: Partner with IT and Product teams to ensure the enterprise tech stack (ERP, CRM, etc.) effectively supports optimized workflows.
  • Partnerships: Build partnerships with our program teams, analysts and program managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).
