Our HGS Network schools offer students the opportunity to earn a U.S. high school diploma and prepare to enter top universities. This is a hybrid position with three office days in Columbia, MD and two work from home days. Overview Hudson Global Scholars is seeking a highly organized professional to support both administrative operations and transactional accounting in a lean team environment. This role combines administrative coordination with hands-on accounting support and requires someone who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy in financial processes.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of accounting and administrative support experience, including hands-on accounts payable processing
  • Familiarity with cloud-based accounting and expense management systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable entries and ensure vendor records are accurate and up to date
  • Review and process employee expense reports through Concur
  • Maintain accounting records in QuickBooks
  • Assist with payroll administration tasks, including maintaining state payroll registrations
  • Coordinate scheduling and calendar management for leadership
  • Provide general administrative and operational support
  • Maintain organized records and documentation and ensure timely follow-through
  • Assist with other accounting and financial support tasks as needed
