About The Position

Opportunity to work on a highly visible project for DHS project. This project has multiple opportunities for strategic communications and training through internal and external channels. The Training Specialist shall develop and maintain technical training curriculum to be delivered in all formats. Develop testing strategies to validate student level of knowledge. Plan, schedule and execute training to support SEVP stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree
• FIVE (5) or more years of experience in Training development

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive research and analysis.
• Ability to develop white papers, briefing materials, and to make oral presentation of these materials to all levels of management.
• Ability to educate and inform senior federal management on various communication planning alternatives.
• Experience doing strategic communication work within DHS law enforcement space
• Strategic communication experience for internal and external Agency asks
• Training development experience in a law enforcement space
• Strong writing and deck development skills in MS Office Suite
