About The Position

The Training Specialist will be responsible for providing front line training to key accounts, their dealers, and installers, as well as their end consumers. Additionally, this role will focus on maintaining training initiatives at our Dallas/Fort Worth location and the long-term initiative expansion strategy for Rollease Acmeda. Requirements

  • Prior Window Treatment industry work experience, especially in teaching, mentoring, instruction, or program development, is highly valued, and encouraged to apply.
  • Training experience in exterior shades preferred
  • Experience and aptitude in a technical training role, presenting, and speaking in front of a crowd.
  • Computer system applications including MS Office 365 suite including Word, PPT, and Excel, CRM or similar
  • Ability to remain patient, courteous, and polite when helping customers set up, or troubleshoot systems
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written and oral communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline focused environment

  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and travel required, up to 50%

Responsibilities

  • Support stakeholders throughout the value chain through real time chat, e-mail, and phone support
  • Provide white glove post-sale support for key accounts, focused primarily on our Outdoor Shade training program, but may assist with motorization/automation system trainings.
  • Deliver training to our largest key accounts including their sales, showroom, and staff.
  • Partner with key accounts to identify their expectations, training needs and support requirements to build an aligned training strategy.
  • Work with the Training Manager to develop and maintain needed training and customer support service.
  • Set up and structure trainings for a premium level delivery of existing or future training programs.
  • Manage assigned training space at our Fort Worth distribution facility.
  • Support key customer technical teams through training and being an available resource.
  • Utilize technical capabilities to assist in developing training content as it relates to key categories.
  • Review and rework our training library ensuring Key Training topic needs are kept up to date.
  • Build presentations for and participate in training seminars to key customers, their dealers, and installers.
  • Document and publish issues and solutions in our training channels and LMS platforms.
  • Test, evaluate and learn about new products as required prior to product launch.
  • Collaborate and support other trainers, provide input, and validate training content
