About The Position

The Training Program Specialist collaborates closely with production supervisors, managers, and cross-functional partners to coordinate all Job Instruction (JI) training activities for new and existing team members. This role ensures that all training follows the approved JI methodology, supports the creation and maintenance of Job Instruction Breakdown Sheets (JIBS), and provides ongoing coaching to maintain training quality. The Training Program Specialist also collects and reports training data to measure training program effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and other data-collection systems.
  • Ability to gather, organize, and analyze data for reporting purposes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience facilitating training or group sessions.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Experience using Power BI or similar data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with production supervisors and managers to balance training against production needs.
  • Coordinate and schedule all Job Instruction (JI) sessions for new hires and existing employees.
  • Assign qualified JI Trainers to trainees based on skill set and operational needs.
  • Monitor JI sessions to ensure adherence to approved training methodology and standards.
  • Oversee the creation, review, and updating of JIBS for all production areas.
  • Provide constructive, supportive feedback to JI Trainers to reinforce strong instructional practices.
  • Schedule and facilitate teach-back sessions with JI Trainers to maintain and refresh training skills.
  • Capture and track all relevant training data and performance metrics to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Prepare reports and communicate training insights to operations leadership.
  • Ensure LMS training and certification records are accurate.
  • Support and facilitate other training initiatives as assigned.
