About The Position

DSV, founded in 1976, has grown to become the world's 3rd largest supplier of global solutions within transport and logistics, operating in over 80 countries. They add value to customers' entire supply chain by transporting, storing, packaging, re-packaging, processing, and clearing various goods. The DSV WMS Training Manager is responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of training in Warehouse Management System (WMS) and supporting processes at DSV Contract Logistics sites. This role involves providing functional and business process expertise within multidiscipline project teams, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables. Activities will be based out of one of the DSV Solutions clusters in the region. The position is time-limited to the end of 2027, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
2 years’ experience in working in a project-based environment.
Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
Strong and energetic personality, able to communicate on operations as well as management level.
Proficiency in one or more WMS
MS Office Suite
English (reading, writing, verbal)
Basic to intermediate level mathematical skills to verify quantities of product, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products.
High level of independency and self-driven
Able to articulate and voice own opinion.
Readiness to travel – can be on short notice.
Able to travel domestically and internationally (including Europe).
Driving License

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combinations of education and work experience.
Extensive knowledge on warehouse processes and supporting system landscapes.
3-5 years of experience with JDA WMS (dispatcher preferred) or other major WMS products.
Profound Logistical and/or Supply Chain Management process understanding.
Experienced in working on small, fast paced project teams.
SQL proficiency is a plus.
Preferably Spanish (reading, writing, verbal)

Responsibilities

Plan and execute trainings on location. All over AMER-Region
Facilitate online training.
Comfortable performing in front of an audience.
Continuous improvement of trainings and training material content
Organize training (training calendar and organization with local site)
Cooperate with engineering on the WMS set-up.
On site go-live support, and after-care.
Testing training programs
Maintain up-to-date revisions of training materials.
Administrating of tests and exam results in the central database
Train key- and end-users on designed processes and functionalities
Create functional designs for internal and external reports and documents.
Gatekeeper for warehouse process standardization
Provide regular scheduled project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Advocate and sell best practices and standardization to internal (and external) parties.
Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand and anticipate customer needs for specific projects.
Other duties as assigned by management to support special projects, implementations, process improvements.
