The IA Knowledge and Education Consultant serve as a central knowledge and enablement resource for Internal Accounting. This role is responsible for capturing, organizing, and communicating institutional knowledge related to Internal Accounting processes, systems, and operational standards. The IA Knowledge and Education Consultant support system changes, process improvements, and ongoing operational needs by enabling teams through clear documentation, guidance, and learning resources. This role partners closely with Internal Accounting leadership, subject matter experts, and technology stakeholders to ensure information is accurate, accessible, and consistently applied across the firm. The role is part of the IA Training Team and contributes to the delivery of Internal Accounting guidance, training, and communications through established platforms and channels. Your role. Your work will include, but not be limited to: Support and maintain Internal Accounting knowledge resources including process documentation, on-demand training resources, reference guides, job aids, and FAQs. Enable Internal Accounting teams by translating complex accounting, operational, and system concepts into clear, user-friendly guidance. Ensure documentation reflects current-state processes, terminology, and system behavior. Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or outdated content and proactively drive updates to maintain accuracy and clarity. Support Internal Accounting system initiatives by documenting changes, process impacts, and user guidance. Participate in requirements discussions, testing, and validation activities to support effective knowledge transfer. Develop materials that enable users to understand and adopt system or process changes. Act as a liaison between Internal Accounting, cross-functional stakeholders, and end users to ensure clarity, consistency, and continuity. Serve as a member of the IA Training Team, contributing to Internal Accounting education and enablement efforts. Support onboarding and ongoing education by enabling staff with role-appropriate learning resources. Collaborate with IA Training Team members and subject matter experts to align training content with current processes and priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience required.
  • Minimum 2-5 year's experience in internal accounting, finance operations, or a professional services environment.
  • Strong ability to document and explain complex processes clearly and accurately.
  • Excellent written communication skills with high attention to detail and consistency.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
  • T his is an exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.
