About The Position

The Training & Development Coordinator is responsible for designing, organizing, and delivering training programs that enhance employee performance, support operational excellence, and strengthen cross-functional capabilities. This role ensures team members are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to meet company standards and performance expectations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, skilled in instructional design, and comfortable working in fast-paced operational environments.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years experience in training, development, operations, or team leadership.
  • Experience developing training materials and documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable presenting to groups and facilitating discussions.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or LMS platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in operational, fulfillment, or marketplace environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement onboarding programs for new hires.
  • Develop structured training modules (virtual, in-person, and self-guided).
  • Create SOPs, playbooks, job aids, and training documentation.
  • Update training materials to reflect policy, system, or process changes.
  • Build cross-training programs to strengthen team versatility.
  • Conduct live training sessions (individual and group).
  • Facilitate workshops and skill-building sessions.
  • Coordinate subject matter experts for specialized trainings.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of company standards across departments.
  • Identify knowledge gaps through performance data and manager feedback.
  • Develop targeted improvement plans for underperforming areas.
  • Monitor post-training performance metrics to measure effectiveness.
  • Maintain skills matrices and training completion records.
  • Train staff on internal systems, platforms, and compliance standards.
  • Support rollout of new tools or workflow changes.
  • Partner with leadership during department restructures or process overhauls.
  • Track training participation and completion rates.
  • Maintain training calendar and documentation repository.
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership on training effectiveness and ROI.
