Job Summary Responsible to coordinate and align employee training and development activities with program and organizational goals, focusing on creating mechanisms on close skill gaps and enhancing performance throughout the full employee lifecycle. This role is also responsible for coordinating the Medication Administration Training program and ensuring the program and employees trained through the program maintain compliance with all requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree organizational development, business, human resources, or another relevant field.
  • Previous experience in employee training, learning & development, organizational development, and/or project management required.
  • This position requires excellent time management and strong attention to detail.
  • Must possess strong skills in organization and project management, analysis and critical thinking, and independent decision making.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.
  • Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, employee engagement skills, ability to plan and run meetings/groups, and ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office suite software, Learning Management System technology, and other relevant technology tools.
  • Valid driver’s license & ability to work flexible schedule required. This position may require travel to affiliate offices and other locations, typically in the PA/NJ area.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification(s) in human resources, organizational development, training, and/or learning & development is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the assessment of training needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and data analysis, and provides recommendations.
  • Must successfully complete the Medication Training “Train-the-Trainer" course and maintain certification as an approved Medication Trainer.
  • Creates training schedules for Medication Administration classes and maintains all training records related to the Medication Administration Training program.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of Medication Administration Training compliance and communicate with program management regarding employee attendance at Medication Administration Training, medication observations, and adherence to requirements.
  • Assists with the creation of learning materials, including the creation of job guides, training modules, presentations, and training manuals.
  • Provides review of training content, educational and learning materials, and other materials relevant to Woods employee training and development initiatives.
  • Assists in the ongoing evaluation of learning initiatives, including gathering feedback, analyzing data, and preparing reports on program effectiveness.
  • Collaborates with and acts as a liaison between the Employee Training and Development department, program management, and leadership to assess workforce needs and create programs that enhance the performance of employees at all levels.
  • Makes data-informed recommendations to improve processes and practices related to new employee onboarding, job training, and ongoing employee and management training and development.
  • Facilitates training courses for new and existing employees.
  • Performs audits of employee training records, orientation files, and Training Department processes to ensure compliance and alignment with expectations.
  • Acts as an advocate for new employees and transfer employees, providing coaching and onboarding support when needed.
  • Conducts research on industry best practices and emerging trends in employee training, learning, and development to inform strategies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Director or Employee Training & Development, Instructional Design Project Manager, or their designee.
