The primary responsibility of this position is to develop and deliver ongoing Mental Health training to newly hired Correctional Officers. This role provides training and organizational support services to Department of Corrections re-entry, programs, and treatment services personnel. The position is responsible for assessing training needs, evaluating existing curriculum, and designing or updating training content to ensure alignment with agency policies, operational goals, and evidence-based practices. The incumbent collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure training initiatives support staff development, workforce readiness, and the Department’s mission.
