About The Position

The Training Coordinator assists in the leadership, administration and coordination of the plant's training and employee resource programs and processes to ensure the organization develops and realizes the full potential of the workforce in support of the business strategic plans and the pursuit of business excellence. This position will report directly to the Human Resources Manager. In this function, you will: Develop and assist in the development of training documents. Assist in the planning and delivery of new hire orientation, coordinate orientation speakers, and activities. Develop new classroom and hands-on new hire experiences. Conduct training audits to verify quality of training and transfer of knowledge. Update the plant's core training plan documents to ensure they reflect the correct job procedures and processes. Work with production supervisors to ensure on time training, cross-training plans, and completion of training. Ensure site's overall training and pay for knowledge programs are effective (certify trainers and trainees, schedule functional assessments, NEO effectiveness, request and incorporate feedback from all parties) Develop and maintain visual aids and training presentations. Monitor and update the annual training plan and schedule. Provide training to individuals and to groups if necessary. Complete special training or development projects such as but not limited to offline training. Assist and lead other HR activities as needed, including leading/participating on committees; assisting with event planning; and leading/participating in recognition initiatives. Develop and maintain Industry 4.0 measures: Video work instructions creation and editing. Develop and edit Visual Operating Procedures (VOPs). Manage training records in the Quality Management System (QMS).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent (General Education Degree) is required.
  • One of the following is required. OR a or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Training Role.
  • Must have experience using Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • Must be able to work overtime and cover other shifts as needed
  • Ability to maintain credibility and keep information confidential when needed
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work with associates at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and with others on projects and programs.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of college level courses from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Previous experience in training and/or leadership/supervisory role
  • Experience using video/training editing software (Camtasia, Clipchamp, DeepHow, Articulate)
  • Knowledge of Lincoln Avenue processes
