About The Position

The primary role of the Training and Compliance Coordinator in the Molding department is to ensure that all Molding employees have been properly trained and are following all Molding department SOP’s and Standard Work procedures. This includes updating and tracking all new and revised procedures through our Change Management System. This individual will be fully engaged in Continuous Improvement initiatives for the Molding department to assure that we are driving C.I through defined processes, procedures and audits. This role is 100$ onsite at our Salt Lake City, UT manufacturing facility.

Requirements

  • Strong Team Player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Clear understanding of both Thermoplastic and/or LSR Injection Molding.
  • Must have a high level of Attention to Detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite; Word and Excel are a must.
  • The ability to develop a formal Technical Training Plan for Process Technicians.
  • The flexibility to perform classroom or hands-on training on all 4 shifts.
  • Minimum education requirements: High School diploma.
  • 2 years of training and/or leadership experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Trainer experience is a plus.
  • Experience in Agile a plus.
  • Knowledge of LEAN methodologies and how to remove WASTE from the production area(s) using the 8 WASTES methodology.
  • Molding Medical manufacturing experience, a plus.
  • Previous med device or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Reports directly to the Molding Production Manager.
  • Review and update all Molding production floor documents. This includes updates and changes to SOP’s, Standard Work and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Work with the Molding Supervisor’s to assure all employees scheduled iLearning training courses meet the company compliancy goal.
  • Work with Team Leaders to identify, generate and conduct additional training to Quality, Safety and other critical topics that require special attention. Training is required to take place on all 4 shifts
  • Conduct regular audits of Quality, Safety or other Gemba Walks to identify areas of improvement or additional training.
  • Support Lean/Six-Sigma initiatives as they arise.
