The Training Consultant is responsible for training for the operations team members at the Grenada, MS facility. Our facility is 388,000 square foot facility with over 700 employees and is the foundation of ADP’s HVAC business. As ADP continues to invest behind this operation, the Training Consultant will support Grenada’s mission by developing and implementing workforce training while providing a great place to work.

  • Oversee training programs focused on safety, quality, and productivity for operations employees. Training programs include, but are not limited to assembly, fabrication, and special skills such as brazing, machine operation, and run test. The training supervisor will also work closely with other departments to develop / enhance training programs as part of new product introduction or as otherwise necessary.
  • Monitor and analyze the results of training programs to evaluate their effectiveness and make improvements
  • Proactively recommend modifications based on training feedback and performance in production.

  • Help to develop and govern skills matrices.
  • Track training and development progress.
  • Assist HR with employee assessment administration.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is an entry level position.
  • Working knowledge of adult learning techniques, needs assessments and training program development.
  • Must be computer literate and have proficient knowledge relative to Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.
  • Experience with MS effectively communicate with internal and external customers required.
  • Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours with little or no advance notice required.
  • Self-discipline and an ability to perform all required tasks while under close supervision required.
