About The Position

SourceAmerica is seeking a Training Academy Administrator to join the Mission Services team. This role works directly with non-profit agencies (NPAs) to establish organization-specific configurations within the SourceAmerica Training Academy (our Learning Management System (LMS)), including initial configuration, managing integrations with HRIS systems (where needed), and data imports. Establish routine processes for managing content feeds and ensuring the NPA develops the necessary infrastructure to maximize and be successful with the SourceAmerica Training Academy. Requires extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in LMS Administration. There are approximately 500 NPAs in the SourceAmerica nonprofit network that provide products or services through the AbilityOne Program and approximately 36,000 AbilityOne employees are in the SourceAmerica nonprofit network. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Learning Technology, Instructional Design, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant business experience, Learning Management System administration.
  • Experience configuring and implementing learning management systems.
  • Experience building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Experience in participating in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong customer service and written communication skills.
  • Ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
  • Strong prioritization and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ability to work well with technical and non-technical users at all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with single sign-on configurations.
  • Experience with Absorb Learning Management platform.
  • Experience with content authoring tools, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, and curriculum development.

Responsibilities

  • Perform learning management systems (on Absorb platform) administration tasks.
  • Develop solutions to leverage cloud-based learning technology systems and ensure that solutions align with business needs and deliver maximum value.
  • Manage and support internal and external teams with integrations between learning technology and/or HR systems
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to the LMS, LMS connectors, data feeds, and single sign-on (SSO).
  • Identify areas of risk and opportunities to improve efficiency within the LMS.
  • Build custom reports and analyze data to determine trends and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with learning technology vendors and non-profit agencies.
  • Serve as the point of contact for designated NPA LMS Administrator(s) and help maintain request queues by answering, triaging, and escalating appropriately.
  • Respond to requests through the SourceAmerica Academy email box.
  • Create and implement the production and deliverables timeline for projects.
  • Manage projects on a collaborative online platform.
  • Ability to create and manage processes and related documentation, including creating work instructions and job aids.
  • Collaborate with Instructional Technology Designers and Curriculum Designers to communicate system and workflow changes.
