Participates in the development and implementation of new training programs and may introduce new processes and sequences for manufacturing areas. Maintains rosters of training progress, examination records, and certification records and may monitor trainees. Demonstrate and instruct pipe welding procedures on Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel pipe using Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), also known as tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding. Types of metal materials with a variety of welding processes; the most basic of which are, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) also known as "stick welding” and Flux-Core Arc Welding (FCAW) also known as “wire welding”.

Requirements

  • High School/GED and 5 years of additional education and/or experience
