About The Position

Performs on-the-job training, skills training, and some classroom training in assembly and production areas. Participates in the development and implementation of new training programs and may introduce new processes and sequences for manufacturing areas. Maintains rosters of training progress, examination records, and certification records and may monitor trainees. Marine Sheet Metal New Hire and Advance skills training Selected candidates will be required to complete 2 to 3 months train the trainer assignment onsite in Newport News, VA

Requirements

High School/GED and 5 years of additional education and/or experience
US Citizenship Required for this Position
Travel Requirement: Yes, 10%-25% of the time

Nice To Haves

Thorough knowledge of marine sheet metal skills.
Ability to lay off and measure
Flexibility to work different shifts.
