The Trainee Program is a six-month, entry level, full time, immersive employment opportunity where you will gain practical industry experience. A full-time, permanent position at the end of the program is based on performance and position availability. With hands on experience, Trainees in the Creative Department become involved with all aspects of the creative process. Through extensive research, design, and creative ideation, Trainees gain a nuanced and in-depth understanding of the art direction and strategy involved in making brands come to life. The Creative Trainee plays an important support role to the Creative Directors, Art Directors, Designers, and Strategists to produce visually arresting, thoughtful, on-brand work for MKTG’s client roster across various forms of media. The Creative Trainee should be a true team player looking to be immersed in a non-typical work environment and become part of a vibrant culture of people that know how to work hard and have FUN. No two days are alike in our office, so being flexible in supporting evolving programs will be key to success in this role. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Create visual assets & assist with design production on client deliverables that adhere to brand guidelines Deliver visually striking and exciting designs in various applications Assist Creative Team with the following: Print design Digital design Contribute ideas during creative discussions & brainstorms PowerPoint decks, layouts, and graphics for presentations Actively support Creative team and collaborate with account teams & content teams on various projects and tasks Adhere to deadlines and complete projects in a timely manner Demonstrate organizational skills by maintaining and organizing files Support concept development by researching design trends and creative inspiration In addition to design-based work, the Creative Trainee will also assist our Creative Strategy Team with: Consumer, competitor, and trend research Assist in building compelling deck presentations that communicate creative narratives Brainstorming sessions and solo ideation Translate strategic ideas into mood boards, concept visuals, and presentation materials QUICK FACTS: Program start date: Monday, July 13, 2026 This role requires 3-4 days each week on location along with other days as needed.
