As a Traffic / Transportation Engineer you will apply technical expertise, work with project teams, coordinate client stakeholders and manage relationships with contractors and sub-consultants on a variety of conventional and unconventional projects with our North Carolina and Mid-Atlantic states . Projects may also include other clients (Federal, local government agencies, institutions, private sector, etc.) and other regions nationally as opportunities are available. This is a dynamic environment with short deadlines and a high level of interaction with the client day to day. The position can be based in any of the GFT’s Raleigh, Charlotte, Asheville, and Wilmington offices. This is mostly an indoor position, but some outdoor field work is also required. Some travel and overtime may be required based on project needs.
