Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and interact effectively with customers and colleagues from a wide variety of functions and cultures
  • Ability to understand technical product features and functionalities
  • Ability to work independently and work with colleagues at all levels of the Company
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing and changing priorities
  • Strong work ethic and sense of accountability, and able to work well under pressure with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with US trade regulations and supply chain procedures a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform a broad range of tasks within the daily import and export operations
  • Work directly with transportation, freight forwarders, airlines, and trucking companies to ensure efficiencies in import & export logistics
  • Operate related activities of compliance programs including but not limited to the following: Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT).
  • Track international shipments and provide shipping notifications as well as maintain shipment logs, Freight Cost Report, Cost, Export Logs and other reports as directed by the Trade & Customs Compliance Manager.
  • Audit freight savings bills for accuracy and completeness.
  • Create export invoices and arrange shipping using the preferred freight forwarders.
  • Support all logistics activities for both imports and exports, --RFQ processing, etc
  • When directed, communicate with all of logistics operation entities in USA and foreign subsidiaries and suppliers across functional teams including Technical Centers, National Sales and Accounting, and other business partners.
