About The Position

Our Trade Marketing team serves as the key marketing contact for field sales and internal cross-functional departments. In this role you will contribute to the development of sales strategies and will be responsible for translating marketing strategies into sales tactics for assigned merchants. You will be essential to our efforts in executing marketing plans in collaboration with our merchant and product partners. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and be skilled in managing projects. We are looking for someone who can present in multiple environments, build rapport with internal and external teams, and who can influence and educate others. The ideal candidate will also have some knowledge of retail operations or trade marketing experience. This position would offer entryway for those in CPG/FMCG (Consumer Package Goods/Fast Moving Consumer Goods) into an entrepreneurial tech-savvy sector.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Strong project management and account management experience required
  • A comprehensive understanding of marketing and business processes
  • Proven analytical skills; ability to compile and interpret data
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and a sense of urgency
  • Excellent organization skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task and work with minimal supervision
  • Possess a strong work ethic and take pride in work quality
  • Must have exceptional computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Ability to travel up to 5-15%

Nice To Haves

  • Retail marketing, brand and/or consumer goods experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Key marketing contact for assigned sales channels
  • Interact and collaborate with sales managers, retailers, and cross-functional teams
  • Support key field business teams with business planning, promotional planning, in store fixtures, signage and top to top meetings
  • Participate in sales account business planning process to develop optimized plan which will drive key objectives
  • Participate in customer calls to drive marketing strategy, gain knowledge to use in strategic and tactical planning, and support the field sales teams
  • Create, execute and report on merchant specific marketing plans to meet both InComm Payments and merchant financial goals
  • Gather and assimilate field and internal information
  • Provide recommendations to sales management and marketing management on appropriate direction for marketing execution of sales strategies, tactics, and goals
  • Develop presentations, sales aids, and promotional material
  • Promotional programs
  • Permanent in store displays and shelf space
  • Development and communication of marketing strategies and tactics
  • Support Channel Vice President’s strategic planning for business unit
  • Process all aspects of invoicing for marketing related activity
  • Disseminate competitive intelligence
