About The Position
Operates tractors and earth moving equipment including materials around warehouses, storage yards, construction sites or similar locations specializing in detecting power lines and other underground hazards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Less than 6 months
- Vehicles (e.g., automobile, truck, tractor, forklift)
Responsibilities
- Performs lawn maintenance.
- Moves levers and controls that operate lifting devices to load, unload, transport and stack materials.
- Positions lifting devices under, over or around loaded pallets, skids and boxes. Secures material or products for transport to designated areas.
- Operates equipment in a proper and safe manner.
- Performs routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied-gas tank.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
