About The Position

The North Canton TPM Operations Manager is a key member of the Field Operations team and is responsible for assisting in the management of inventory and quality. The North Canton TPM Operations Manager will partner with our vendor partners to ensure PECO’s service and quality specifications are met. They will also be a liaison between the TPM depot and the other internal business units to answer questions and/or resolve issues by escalating as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interface well with other departments and lead effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
  • In-depth process knowledge of related manufacturing equipment/processes and/or operations processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Strong professional writing skills and ability to prepare technical reports.
  • Ability to clearly articulate information.
  • Ability to respond to detailed inquiries and present information to groups and senior leaders.
  • Ability to supervise multiple groups/shifts, if applicable.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use enterprise software.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing business acumen.
  • Ability to drive a forklift is required.
  • OSHA knowledge

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 8 years of manufacturing/operations experience, including a minimum of 3 years of manager experience, is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with colleagues, vendors, and Sam’s Club as our client
  • Direct management of the onsite relationship with our TPM Partner to ensure all customer KPI’s are met
  • Daily inventory counts are provided to MFO and other PECO departments
  • Responsible for safety and OSHA compliance, as relates to Sam’s Club expectations
  • Maintain, optimize, and report on PECO location expenses and budgets
  • RFU/WIP Quality audits for direct shipment to renters
  • Communicate Production Requirements
  • Monitor Hourly/Daily/Weekly Production Performance
  • Cost Per Pallet, Sort Management
  • Manual Invoice Approvals/Justifications.
  • Entering all system transactions into multiple systems for operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal partners, sales/service/transportation/planning on TPM performance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business partners across functions to ensure successful project implementation by deploying tools, processes, and personnel.
  • Responsible for the control of inventory for other pallet companies.
