Capital Vacations is a growing leader in the vacation ownership industry providing families with flexible memorable vacation experiences nationwide Our Marketing Team plays a vital role in introducing new guests to our product and generating excitement for the Capital Vacations brand We are looking for motivated outgoing and competitive individuals to join us as Tour Generation Specialist Appointment Setters formerly OPC Marketing Agents If you enjoy connecting with people thrive in a fast paced environment and love the idea of performance based pay this is the perfect opportunity Position SummaryThe Tour Generation Specialist Appointment Setter is responsible for engaging vacationers resort guests and local visitors at various Capital Vacations marketing locations These locations may include resort lobbies hotel partners outdoor marketing booths events festivals and high traffic activity areas Using a scripted pitch delivered naturally the Tour Generation Specialist Appointment Setter generates interest in the Capital Vacations ownership experience and schedules sales presentations for qualified guests Success in this role is directly tied to the number of qualified appointments set and verified This is an energetic people oriented role that rewards confidence drive and strong communication skills

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be comfortable earning commission based income
  • Ability to memorize and deliver a short scripted pitch while keeping it conversational
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in outdoor or indoor public settings
  • Reliable transportation to various marketing locations within the Myrtle Beach area
  • Must be able to work weekends holidays and peak travel periods as needed

Nice To Haves

  • previous experience in sales promotions hospitality customer service or marketing helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Engage tourists travelers and locals in high traffic environments including hotels resorts partner businesses and promotional events
  • Deliver a scripted pitch in a natural conversational manner to introduce Capital Vacations and the benefits of vacation ownership
  • Create excitement and interest around attending a sales presentation
  • Qualify guests based on company criteria before scheduling their appointment
  • Set appointments accurately and efficiently ensuring all guest information is properly recorded
  • Achieve weekly appointment and performance goals
  • Maintain a positive high energy presence throughout each shift
  • Represent Capital Vacations professionally and uphold all company policies and standards
