Responsibilities include but are not limited to pedal calibration, torque shaping, cruise control, brake torque interface, etc. | WHAT YOU GET TO DO As a member of the Propulsion Systems Engineering group, the Calibration Engineer will be responsible for integrating key parts of the software and calibrating various parts for the production vehicle. Prototype and production intent vehicle calibration and support. Translate vehicle requirements/functional objectives and formulate development and testing plans. The Calibration Engineer will work with SLATE suppliers (through Development Phases Alpha, Beta, PV, Product intent)) and with SLATE cross-functional teams (Chief Engineer, architecture, purchasing, program manager, and quality engineers) to ensure the successful launch and release. Define, execute and supervise design verification plans (DVP) and reporting Support production ramp and field issue resolution Provide program deliverables on time per major development milestones Calibration change management (documentation of calibrations and changes) Execute programs through the development process that meet or exceed objectives for performance, drivability and customer satisfaction Calibration Tools and documentation creation
