About The Position

Work as part of the design and development teams for high impact automation projects using state-of-the-art technologies. Develop relationships and specifications with control hardware and software suppliers to meet automation project requirements. Provide full support to site engineers, production lines, and cross functional teams. Employ new technologies for troubleshooting and improve current automation infrastructure, using root cause analysis and data-driven decision-making approach. Contribute to process validation and site process improvements following Good Manufacturing Practices within FDA current regulations. Up to 10% domestic and international travel required. Hybrid work permitted.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or as an Electrical Engineer, Automation Engineer, or an acceptable alternate occupation.
  • Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered, or as an Electrical Engineer, Automation Engineer, or an acceptable alternate occupation.
  • Three (3) years of experience with the following: Allen Bradley controls experience; validation experience, including validating industrial equipment for medical device production that is governed by FDA and ISO standards; HMI programming experience in either Allen Bradley or Siemens environments; and industrial networking experience.
  • Two (2) years of experience with the following: Siemens controls, with a focus in TIA Portal for development; SQL experience; and general robotic programming experience.
  • Ignition programming experience.
  • Up to 10% domestic and international travel required.
  • Hybrid work permitted.
