About The Position

Support day-to-day production by building and repairing fixture/work holding and handling tooling and part repairs. This role uses both manual machining and CNC to produce accurate reliable solutions that keep operations running. GROWTH / SCOPE: This role is primarily based in the toolroom, but it can expand beyond the toolroom to support broader shop and site needs, including on-floor troubleshooting, equipment/fixture support, and cross training in additional machining and maintenance related work as business demands. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Build and repair fixtures and workholding used in production. Fix and modify tooling and machined parts to keep equipment running. Set up and run manual and CNC mills and lathes. Read prints and follow dimensions/tolerances (basic GD&T as needed). Choose tools, set offsets, and check your work to confirm parts meet spec. Use measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, indicators, and bore gauges. Work with production/maintenance/engineering to solve problems and improve fixtures. Follow shop safety and keep your area clean and organized WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Toolroom machining experience. Able to set up and operate manual machines and CNC. Blue print reading and measurement skills. Good troubleshooting and attention to detail. Dependable and able to handle repair work with changing priorities.
