Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
3-5 years of combined experience in: machining, cutting tools, tool setting, high volume manufacturing environment
Familiar with MS Office applications
Demonstrates problem solving skills and analysis
Quality oriented & conscious
Reliable with excellent attendance record

Responsibilities

Performs necessary cutting insert rotations or changes
Performs heat shrink tool setting of solid carbide tools
Sets length and diameter offsets for cutting tools using pre-setter
Promptly enters tooling data into Tool Tracking System
Assists in maintaining cutting tool RFID chips and evaluate further implementation of this technology
Troubleshoots cutting tool issues in collaboration with operators, team leads, and shift leads
Precision & Accuracy: The ability to perform precision measurements and ensure tools are functioning correctly.
Machining Skills: Knowledge of machining processes for repairing and fabricating tools.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous focus on tasks to ensure high-quality work and tool functionality.
