Our CMC Factory Operations team is seeking a Tooling Support Specialists specializing in Manufacturing Operations to support our team 100% onsite in McKinney, Texas. This position is for 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing support or tool room environment and must be able to perform assigned tasks in accordance with all applicable EHS and safety requirements. This role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively across functions to provide seamless operational support.

Requirements

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in manufacturing support and/or tool room environment.
  • Experience in tool calibration, preventive maintenance, and/or inspection practices.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily inspection, calibration, preventive maintenance, and functional verification of production tooling used in manufacturing operations.
  • Ensures tools remain in a compliant, safe, and production-ready condition by performing scheduled calibration activities, executing preventive maintenance plans, and conducting routine tool health checks to identify wear, damage, or out-of-tolerance conditions.
  • Perform compliance checks on tools and equipment, verifying grounding integrity, labeling, and control methods, and ensuring all tooling meets established ESD and quality requirements.
  • Partner closely with manufacturing teams to proactively address tool-related issues, minimize downtime, and ensure uninterrupted production flow.
  • Accurate documentation of calibration status, maintenance actions, and inspection results are required in accordance with site and regulatory standards.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required to support factory operations
