Our CMC Factory Operations team is seeking a Tech Support Specialists specializing in Repair and Maintenance to support our team 100% onsite in McKinney, Texas. This position is for 1st shift. This position is responsible for the execution of repair, maintenance, and calibration activities on production and assembly equipment. This role supports the installation, relocation, and setting up of manufacturing equipment and ensures assets remain in a safe, compliant, and production-ready condition.

Requirements

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in manufacturing or technical support environment.
  • Experience in mechanical, electrical troubleshooting and/or repair skills.
  • Experience working with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience maintaining and repairing circuit card assembly equipment, including automated coating, fluid dispensing, soldering, forming, and cleaning systems.
  • Knowledge of facilities and infrastructure requirements for equipment installation (power, exhaust, air)
  • Experience with asset management systems and practices
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, computer).

Responsibilities

  • Requires working knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, the ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics, and strong troubleshooting capability for automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform assigned tasks in accordance with all applicable EHS and safety requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also functioning effectively within a shift-based team environment to provide continuous factory support.
  • Interact with factory production personnel and engineering teams.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed to support manufacturing operations.
