Our Consolidated Manufacturing Center is seeking a Material Mover to support our team 100% onsite in McKinney, Texas. Successful candidates will be required to move material via carts or pallet jacks and may move material between factories. Additional duties may include shipment of empty containers back to supplier and expediting hardware between locations in the factory. Material Mover may need to obtain a forklift certification

Requirements

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Material Movement using carts and/or pallet jacks.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in SAP.
  • Experience working with inventory management systems.
  • Experienced and effective communicator (presentation skills, written and verbal communication).
  • Motivated and takes on challenges with minimal direction, with the ability to be proactive and drive action accordingly.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking techniques, using logic and reasoning to identify approaches to problems, and the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the movement of hardware from assigned work cells to the next process point in a timely manner and verifying it is logged to the corresponding step.
  • Ensuring Shop Orders are closed with "zero" open notification in CMES and/or IMRO.
  • Verifying documentation accuracy (Hardware matches shop order)
  • Monitoring kitting racks and drop zones for hardware needing to be routed to assigned work cells, this includes but is not limited to shortages filled, kits, etc.
  • Moving parts dispositioned for RTV/SCRAP to SMA/pack-ship or other applicable areas.
  • Responsible for line flow audits.
  • Responsible for performing WIP audits to verify material aged at an operation is physically located in the corresponding area
  • Supporting the tracking of materials (transacted in PRISM by others) via PRISM and Raytrak
  • Supporting the submission of SOS tickets to expedite items, initiate return to stock requests, and to request discrepancy investigations
  • Responsible for logistics activities which may include: de-trashing, creating and maintaining organized totes for kits for the manufacturing floor, validating kit items
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
