Responsibilities include overseeing staff managing clerical tasks and coordinating the overall activities and operation of the tool room. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience is required
  • Completion of forklift truck mechanics training course required
  • Must be able to complete various activities in the facility that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying
  • Must be able to move up to 50lbs at a time.
  • Candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug screening and may be asked to submit to background examination.

Responsibilities

  • Manage tool room staff and clerical functions.
  • Maintain and update records of tool room equipment in Alert Rental software.
  • Safe forklift operation.
  • Communicate tool room needs via Alert Rental software.
  • Purchase rental tools and sales inventory.
  • Open communication with vendors and manufacturers.
  • Maintain tool room equipment manuals, processes and operational guidelines.
  • Ensure all safety equipment is properly calibrated.
  • Coordinate rental needs between departments.
  • Communicate with accounting on clearing closed job.
  • This position may require a flexible schedule, and periodic overtime as needed.
