Our company is seeking a dedicated Tool & Parts Attendant to join our team. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our aviation tool inventory, ensuring that our maintenance teams have access to the tools they need to keep our aircraft flying safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Requires 1-3 years of related experience
  • Require AMRL/IMRL and METCAL experience
  • Understanding of CNAF 4790.2 series Tool Control and IMRL required
  • Experience in an industrial environment, familiar with heavy machinery, special tools, calibrated tooling, test equipment, common hand tools, and support equipment
  • High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain base access
  • Able to work under moderate supervision
  • Must be able to pass drug test and fit for work physical as required
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work in areas that require awkward posturing, bending, kneeling, squatting, to include working overhead
  • Travel may be required
  • Must be US Citizen to apply

Responsibilities

  • Inventory, store, and distribute hand tools and other equipment including support equipment used in aviation.
  • Maintain tool functionality, calibration specifications, and safe condition by performing frequent inspections of tools and equipment for wear, defects, or damage.
  • Inventory tools and support equipment by tracking the distribution of tools and users in a database or other system.

  • Orders new tools and equipment or repairs tools as needed
  • Knowledge and understanding of aviation tools and equipment
