About The Position

We’re looking for a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges that help power our production line. If you’re a problem solver who enjoys precision work and working with your hands, we want to hear from you!

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of experience in tool and die making.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret dimensions and tolerances.
• Skilled in using a variety of machine and hand tools.
• Strong understanding of design principles, precision measuring instruments, and basic trigonometry.

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree or vocational certification in a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to plan and fabricate dies, tools, and assemblies.
• Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machining equipment.
• Assemble, modify, and repair tools, gauges, jigs, and dies.
• Verify part accuracy using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot tool performance issues and perform maintenance and manual operation of progressive dies.
• Recommend design improvements based on function and construction of existing tooling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 6S standards.
• Support production teams by designing work aids like templates and jigs.
