About The Position

We are seeking a Title Closing Manager to work in our Clayton, MO office. This is an in-office position, working Monday – Friday. You will play a key role within our company as you oversee, implement and support the closing department processes and staff to ensure proper procedures are followed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Two to five years title closing experience in real estate or mortgage closing area.
  • One to two years of management experience.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and leadership abilities. A customer service focus and the ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment.
  • Project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently under deadline pressure.
  • Superior communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment.
  • High degree of integrity, self-motivated, organized, detail oriented, and possess a strong aptitude for figures.
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Marketing and sales skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that professional and proper procedures are followed in the closing of the real estate and mortgage transactions. This includes proper accounting of escrow funds, reviewing lender packages, recording packages, and correction of all if necessary. Assign files as the branch receives them. Supervise and provide guidance to all staff members.
  • Receive and respond to customers’ inquiries and complaints in a prompt and professional manner. Resolve issues that may arise resulting from closing or day-to-day operations.
  • Attend sales meetings, real estate company events, company title meetings, company management meetings, and interact with lending and banking institutions.
  • Monitor productivity of staff members to ensure customer service needs are met.
  • Conduct educational and informational meetings for the staff. Provide and oversee training for staff members. Perform annual evaluations of staff.
  • Provide management reports, including projection reports, indexing reports, payout reports and other designated reports, assist with preparation of annual budgets, manage activities consistent with financial targets.
  • Fill in for staff members as needed to ensure job duties are completed.
  • Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
