About The Position

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Tier 1 Helpdesk Support Specialist to provide first-level technical assistance to end users. This role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of Windows environments, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve common technical issues.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by actively listening, empathizing, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software problems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Support Windows operating systems, including user account management and basic configuration tasks.
  • Assist users with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), including installation and usage guidance.
  • Document all interactions and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system accurately and timely.
  • Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 support when necessary, ensuring proper handoff and communication.
  • Maintain knowledge base articles and contribute to process improvements.
