About The Position

The Ticketing Coordinator plays a critical role on a fast-moving, collaborative team supporting one of the region’s most visible and well-respected live entertainment brands. WestCoast Entertainment presents the STCU Best of Broadway Series, working directly with top-tier touring Broadway productions and industry partners to bring world-class theater to the community. This position is intentionally designed for someone who is excited to enter and grow within the live entertainment and touring production world. You’ll gain hands-on experience across ticketing operations, guest experience, and large-scale event execution, working behind the scenes on Broadway tours that are seen by thousands of patrons each year. Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Strong computer skill, including Microsoft Office, Outlook and Google Workspace
  • Ability and willingness to learn ticketing systems for both guest-facing service and back-end event builds and account management. (Paciolan ticketing system or similar systems highly preferred, but not required)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow through to meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate honestly, clearly, and professionally with guests and teammates
  • Proven ability to build positive working relationships with coworkers, management, subscribers, group organizers, tour management, partners, and agencies
  • Professionalism and tact when handling sensitive situations or unhappy patrons
  • Ability to work across multiple settings (office, venue, and occasional remote work)
  • Availability for irregular hours, including nights and weekends, with eligibility for overtime pay
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality when working with financial, sales, and pre-release event information

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service in person, by phone, and by email to season ticket holders, group patrons, and single ticket-buyers at both the WCE office and the event venue.
  • Support the Best of Broadway Season Series including guest services, subscriber benefits, annual renewals, single ticket sales, seat allocations and account management.
  • Serve as ticketing representative to the public as well as touring/artist management providing accurate sales, inventory, and service information for all WCE events.
  • Assist with-and over time potentially-lead the build and management of event ticket manifests including venue scaling, season packages, holds, promotions and other ticketing commitments for all WestCoast Entertainment events.
  • Manage all holds, house seats and promotional ticket distributions for both tour and WCE initiatives.
  • Produce ticketing reports, sales wraps, audits, and event settlement reports.
  • Act as a primary liaison between WestCoast Entertainment and the ticketing company box office and call center for ticket services including preparing training materials and helping train the call center and box office staff.
  • Assist Ticketing Manager and Marketing team with inbound group sales and fulfillment including managing seat allocations, holds, payment processing and retention initiatives.
  • Support and help manage special programs such as Random Acts of Kindness, donations, concierge program and ticket lotteries in partnership with the marketing team.
  • Assist with the oversight of part-time ticket sellers during events and special sales efforts throughout the year.
  • Work evenings and weekends as required by show schedules, events, and sponsor activations.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support guest experience, ticket sales success, subscriber programs, group sales, and events.
