About The Position

Brighton Resort is looking for friendly, energetic, detail-oriented, and guest-focused Ticket Sales Cashiers to join our team for the upcoming winter season. As a front-line team member of our resort, you'll set the tone for each guest's day on the mountain by creating positive first impressions, providing a warm welcome, and ensuring smooth, accurate transactions. Stationed in the ticket office, you'll assist guests with purchasing lift tickets, season passes, and resort products while delivering excellent service. This role is essential in ensuring efficient sales processes, supporting guests with clear information, and helping them navigate their mountain experience. As a visible ambassador of Brighton Resort, you'll balance guest service, accuracy, and professionalism while thriving in a fast-paced, high-energy environment that reflects Brighton's culture of hospitality, mountain adventure, and excellence in service.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive, professional attitude under pressure
  • Basic computer and cash/card-handling experience
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to stand for extended periods in a busy indoor setting
  • Availability for at least three shifts per week, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Reliable transportation to and from the resort in winter conditions
  • Commitment to excellent customer service and teamwork

Nice To Haves

  • Previous guest service, retail, or hospitality experience
  • Familiarity with ski resort operations

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming Mountain Ambassador Greet every guest with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm
  • Provide clear, accurate information about tickets, passes, and resort services
  • Represent Brighton's approachable, friendly culture authentically
  • Process ticket and pass sales quickly and accurately, even during peak times
  • Maintain attention to detail with card handling and point-of-sale systems
  • Take ownership of resolving any errors promptly and willing to ask questions
  • Listen actively to guest questions and concerns
  • Turn challenges into positive experiences through patience and empathy
  • Offer helpful information about mountain conditions, resort facilities, and services
  • Support coworkers during busy rush periods
  • Communicate effectively with the ticket office team and other departments
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive atmosphere
  • Arrive consistently on time, ready for work—even in winter conditions
  • Handle money and sensitive information responsibly
  • Follow all card-handling and security procedures
