The manager will be responsible for meeting productivity benchmarks, reduce patient wait times, and encourage a positive patient experience as measured by bed placement times, ED Boarding times, and other Hospital Capacity Metrics. The manager will help define and develop appropriate metrics for patient throughput based on best practices, monitor reports, and modify processes and take actions as needed to ensure desired outcomes. The manager will collaborate with ancillary departments, staff, and physicians to promote efficient practices. The manager will work closely with RGH leadership to improve throughput processes from admission to discharge and enhance quality and safety. Key relationships will be developed with Nurse Managers and Nursing Directors.
