About The Position

The Integration and Workflow Program Manager within the IT department partners with system owners, vendors and technology teams to lead the strategy and delivery of enterprise workflow automation and system integrations. This role owns the roadmap for workflow orchestration platforms and system-to-system connectivity across channels, platforms, and third-party services to ensure readiness and seamless execution that drives operational efficiency, compliance, and scalability. This team member partners closely with the technical and functional teams who are responsible for building the individual workflows and integrations to ensure their success. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Location: South Burlington, VT, with flexible hybrid schedule.

Requirements

  • Eight years to ten years of related experience which includes experience in business analysis, project or program management, and/or software development with a focus on workflow automation and system-to-system integrations.
  • Experience implementing API-first, event-driven, and middleware/iPaaS solutions.
  • Proven mastery in bridging business and technology by translating complex business objectives into scalable technical solutions, supported by disciplined requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Experience leading process improvements and managing multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to evaluate workflows, troubleshoot issues, and recommend strategies for operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, fostering collaboration and clarity throughout project lifecycles.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques, and proficiency in creating documentation and metrics to assess performance.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration platforms and business process modeling.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns (REST, SOAP, pub/sub, message queues), API lifecycle management, and data transformation.
  • Workflow automation tools: ServiceNow, Camunda, Nintex, Power Automate. Integration technologies: API gateways, ESB, iPaaS, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Scripting and automation: Python, PowerShell, or similar. Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP. Project management tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Project. Familiarity with DevSecOps .
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Favorable Background, Credit, Criminal, Bondability, and Reference Checks required.
  • Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in IT Management, Business Administration, or Systems Engineering.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) or Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or SAFe/Agile certifications. ITIL Foundation or higher.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define, maintain, and execute multi-year enterprise workflow automation and system to system integration roadmaps aligned to business strategy, including the development of business cases and technology recommendations.
  • Drive the definition, implementation, and ongoing management of scalable automation and integration solutions using vendor provided in platform capabilities and enterprise integration technologies.
  • Collaborate with system owners, vendors, and internal technical teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for workflow automation and system to system integrations aligned to business outcomes.
  • Lead projects that design, develop, implement, and enhance enterprise transformation and the maturity of the organization’s automation, integration, and digital workflow capabilities.
  • Define and standardize reusable workflow templates for approvals, case management, and exception handling to accelerate delivery and ensure consistency.
  • Establish and maintain workflow governance, integration standards, and design review processes to ensure solution quality, scalability, and alignment with enterprise architecture.
  • Define success metrics and monitor the effectiveness of automation and integration initiatives.
  • Ensure automation and integration solutions meet security, risk, and compliance requirements.
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
