About The Position

CTG is seeking an experienced Third Party Application Project Manager (PM) to support Phase 2 of an enterprise-wide Epic deployment. This phase includes the rollout of Epic across ambulatory, behavioral health, and home health/hospice service lines. The Third Party PM will lead the planning, coordination, execution, and oversight of all third-party system integrations required to ensure seamless interoperability between Epic and external applications, devices, vendors, and partner systems. This role works cross-functionally with clinical, operational, technical, vendor, and executive stakeholders to ensure integrations are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • 5–8+ years of healthcare IT project management experience.
  • Direct experience supporting an Epic implementation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of infrastructure.
  • Previous experience supporting rationalization and standardization.
  • Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendors and healthcare integrations.
  • Experience working across ambulatory, behavioral health, or home health/hospice environments a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a complex program.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience supporting a multi-entity or multi-site healthcare deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of HL7, FHIR, APIs, and healthcare interoperability standards.
  • PMP certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with interface engines (e.g. Mirth).
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the integrated project plan for all third-party system interfaces supporting ambulatory, behavioral health, and home health/hospice workflows.
  • Build and maintain a master inventory of all third-party vendors across Epic modules and divisions
  • Map existing contracts against Epic's required and optional third-party integrations
  • Identify overlapping vendors across divisions/go-live waves and develop a consolidation roadmap
  • Ensure third-party readiness (contracts executed, integrations tested)
  • Establish interface governance processes, change management controls, and documentation standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party vendors interfacing with Epic.
  • Coordinate technical and operational readiness activities with internal IT, clinical leadership, revenue cycle, compliance, and external partners.
  • Facilitate recurring integration status meetings, risk reviews, and executive updates.
  • Ensure vendor deliverables meet contractual and technical requirements.
  • Work with supply chain and contracting department for application rationalization and standardization
  • Oversee development and implementation of HL7, FHIR, API, SFTP, and other integration methods.
  • Collaborate with interface engine teams to manage interface specifications, build timelines, testing, and migration.
  • Track and manage interface inventory, data mapping, specifications, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate end-to-end testing (unit, integrated, workflow, regression) across service lines.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, HIPAA compliance, and audit readiness.
