The Therapist will provide direct behavioral health services to birthing people, caregivers and children ages 0-5, including short term therapy, crisis intervention, and dyadic treatment focused on parent child bonding, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, and social-emotional development. The Therapist will also conduct behavioral health screening and participate in multidisciplinary care coordination meetings. When families require more intensive behavioral health support, the Therapist will initiate referrals to AltaMed or Foothill Family’s Internal Clinical teams to ensure timely access to high levels of care. This role is essential for expanding early intervention access and ensuring a responsive continuum of care for high-need families. The Therapist will document all services in the electronic health record system (EHRS) and will be supervised by the Program Manager to maintain alignment with Trauma-Informed, evidence-based practices.
