As a Therapist Intern at KBBH, you play a meaningful part in supporting individuals and families on their journey toward healing and resilience; all while growing your own professional skills under the guidance of experienced clinicians. You will deliver supervised, trauma informed, culturally responsive services that may include individual, family, or group therapy; case management; psychoeducation; and crisis support (depending on program assignment). Interns at KBBH are fully integrated into multidisciplinary treatment teams, with opportunities to learn, stretch, and gain confidence in real world clinical environments. Your role is designed to support your development as a future therapist while ensuring clients receive high quality care anchored in dignity, respect, and client voice. You’ll build foundational counseling skills, strengthen case conceptualization, and gain familiarity with evidence informed practices that align with your graduate training program.
