Requirements

• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith and charism, with the ability to effectively engage students in discussion on matters of faith
• Familiarity with Salesian charism and educational practice, or a willingness to be further formed in Salesian educational theory and practice.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing as well as in person.
• Experience with and skill in developing unit and lesson plans, focused on helping students develop 21st-century skills and competencies.
• Skills to effectively manage a high school classroom, including the ability to create an environment conducive to learning and effectively resolve student behavior incidents.
• At minimum, a Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Willingness to consent to a background check and participate in Archdiocesan and Salesian "Safe Environment" training.
