About The Position

JOB SUMMARY We are hiring for front-of-house support positions at the Bear Tooth Cafe. We are looking for hosts and bussers committed to providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and be team players. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required. If you are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere, we encourage you to apply for our Front-of-House support positions. Weekend availability is required.

Requirements

Must be 16 years of age or older with a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card.
Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
On-the-job tools and training provided.
Stand and walk for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
Work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions
Lift and carry 30+ lbs
Communicate professionally and effectively under pressure and in high-stress environments
Organization and prioritization skills
Have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
Bend, move quickly around the restaurant, and stop and wipe frequently
Self-motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
