About The Position

This position is a 0.5 FTE located at Jefferson Middle School.

All Teachers/Instructional Staff hired after January 15th are considered term
employees. This position is a term position that is effective for FY26 through
June 18, 2026 only. You would need to re-apply for a position for FY27.

Requirements

• Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.
• Elementary endorsement.
• Experience teaching secondary students.

Nice To Haves

• Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellence in organizing timelines, data and workload.
• Superior communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of SOL testing protocols, exemptions and special testing accommodations.
• Ability to interpret and organize data for analysis and goal setting.
