Testing and Validation Engineer – Lighting Electronics
About The Position
FORVIA - HELLA Electronics Corporation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Testing and Validation Engineer – Lighting Electronics. The focus of this role will be to guide the overall application, system, and qualification testing for a next generation ECU system. Requirements
- 5+ years experience conducting validation, software, system, or qualification testing for the automotive industry.
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- Guide cross-domain assignments withing a global team environment.
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and presentation.
- Good customer front end experience in resolving and supporting customer requests.
- Serve as a trusted technical interface to management
Nice To Haves
- 8+ years experience conducting validation, software, system, or qualification testing for the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for OEM, Tier 1’s and internal global development and testing teams
- Coordinate the test planning process for multiple part numbers.
- Maintain full visibility of test status and results executed both locally and globally, ensuring continuous alignment with European counterparts.
- Define and optimize testing standards to improve execution efficiency and reduce testing time.
- Manage system level testing from test creation through execution and reporting.
- Validate test variants generated due to engineering changes to support production introduction.
