About The Position

Summary of Job: Technician working on a team delivering the successful completion of a Test and Balance project.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience preferred
  • TAB Math – Advanced knowledge of math formulas as it relates to TAB
  • VFD – Ability to configure and troubleshoot VFD’s
  • Blueprints – Basic understanding of blueprints
  • Hydronic Systems – Ability to perform TAB and troubleshoot systems
  • Air Systems – Understanding of variable and constant volume air side applications
  • Software – Understanding of Siemens, Trane, Honeywell and TAB reporting software
  • Manpower – Ability to task and plan manpower and projects
  • Healthcare – Working knowledge of healthcare requirements to include clean rooms, negative pressure areas and other requirements
  • Problem Solving – Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics
  • Technical Skills – Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others
  • Customer Service – Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service
  • Oral Communication – Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Participates in meetings
  • Written Communication – Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret information
