About The Position
Sales Engineer / Territory Sales Manager required to join a global manufacturer of precision cutting tools used for metal cutting and CNC machining.
Requirements
- Prior experience selling or using cutting tools used for metal cutting and CNC machining or prior experience selling similar products or solutions in precision engineering such as CNC machinery, machine tools or machined components.
- Located in Michigan or willingness to relocate to Michigan.
- Driving license.
Nice To Haves
- A technical background in manufacturing, CNC, machining or Mechanical Engineering is desirable although not a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors to drive sales and support technical needs.
- Analyze customer requirements and provide expert guidance to recommend tailored tooling solutions that maximize sales opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and inform strategic planning.
- Mentor and train distributor teams and internal staff to enhance product knowledge and promote solution-based selling.
