About The Position

Reporting to the Manager Wholesale Sales Ops and Customer Service, the Territory Analyst - CSR provides a variety of activities relating to the administrative and clerical services ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations and logistics. The Territory Analyst - CSR is responsible for overseeing the back-office needs of bulk propane logistics and distribution. The Territory Analyst - CSR will also be responsible for answering any inquiries regarding landed locations and dates, volumes etc. Territory Analyst – CSR will manage and maintain logistical records within the operational accounting system by communicating closely with dispatch, marketing, and accounting groups. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or Community College Diploma, or equivalent courses or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • More than five (5) years, professional office experience
  • Propane industry, Oil & Gas, Energy Trading, Transportation, or Logistics experience preferred
  • Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening

Responsibilities

  • Enters propane deliveries into operational accounting software
  • Verifies transactions to ensure that they reflect correct load dates, pricing, volume, locations and freight or other charges
  • Ensures that all required documentation and approvals have been obtained for issuing invoices and payment of invoices or expenses
  • Follows up with the appropriate internal or vendor contacts to investigate and resolve any errors and discrepancies with logistics, or obtain missing documentation or approvals
  • Verifies propane orders and deliveries are booked accurately on sale, purchase, and storage contracts
  • Monitors contract fulfillment and volume limits
  • Manage email communication from drivers to confirm deliveries
  • Manages recording and balancing inventory levels on a daily and monthly basis and month end reconciliation
  • Completing assigned tasks for month end closing
  • Administrative and backup support for Dispatch and Marketing teams
  • Analytical research to resolve discrepancies in BOL information, pricing, contracts
  • Manage fixed price programs as required
  • Acting as a back-up for accounting administration peers and administrative support for dispatching and marketing departments
  • Other duties as assigned
